American History
Has Never Looked Like This.
Americards is a collectible card set — and a digital experience — featuring original art, untold stories, and hidden connections across every era of American history. Launching on Kickstarter this spring.

Cards in your hand.
Stories on your screen.
Every Americard features original illustration and surprising facts — but the real magic is what happens between the cards. People are connected. Stories overlap. One card leads to the next. Click any card to flip it.

We'll send you a printable mini-deck — six cards spanning five eras of American history. Print them, cut them out, and hold the first pieces of the collection in your hands.
Inside the mini-deck:
- George WashingtonThe General Who Held the Line
- Harriet TubmanFreedom's Deadliest Conductor
- Frederick DouglassThe Voice That Shook the Nation
- Bessie ColemanQueen of the Sky
- Amelia EarhartHow Far Can You Push?
- Katherine JohnsonThe Math Behind the Moon
Stories you thought you knew.
A formerly enslaved man who stole a Confederate warship and sailed it to freedom. A president who finished a speech with a bullet in his chest. A 16-year-old girl who outrode Paul Revere. These aren't footnotes — they're the cards.
Art worth collecting.
Every card is an original illustration — not a photo, not clip art. The style shifts across eras so you can feel the difference between 1776 and 1969 just by looking.
Everyone is connected.
Harriet Tubman leads to Frederick Douglass. Douglass leads to Robert Smalls. Smalls leads to a stolen warship and a story you won't believe. Every card is a door to the next one — in the deck and on screen.
Why we're making this.
Americards was created by Simon Brief and Simmy Kustanowitz — two people who believe American history is the best story never properly told.
Simon designs the cards and builds the experience. Simmy shapes the stories and connections between them. Together, they're building a collection of over 200 cards spanning every era — from the Revolution to right now.
The goal is simple: bring people together around the history we share. The real stories. The overlooked heroes. The moments that made this country what it is — just in time for America's 250th birthday.
